Herb garden

This is something I did about a year ago in a ceramics course I took.
1mm raku stoneware made into 1cm flat pieces, from which the sides were cut out.
Tape decoration, I don't have the glazing recipe here now, but strips of tape were used before glazing & then removed. During glazing the gases from glazing created those looovely ochre gradients on the borders of the are left glaze free. Otherwise glaze is plain white as you can see. Anyway if somebody is interested I can dig it up from the papers.

One day this will be my kitchen garden. But now I live here in the school and it's tucked away securely somwhere behind... But one day
