Yeah I tried today your idea about riveting through the cup holder bottom, it worked beautifully, hope to have pics of the finished products up soon(ish).
This is still of the generation that had just a spike to stick the candle to... I think I'm now going at number #13, which is good, so I'll have something to sell, come summer...
Tomorrow starting work on a floor-standing model, yai!
Good news, man, glad to hear that.Much luck with marketing, too.I noticed,in the picture, that your fire's quite large(looks very clean, too),so you should be able to make all the forge-welds often required by the larger scope of work, such as many floor-standing candleholders.Much luck with that.
yeah, I just cranked it to max for the pic for the flames to look cool no use using it that big otherwise. I did forge weld one laminate pack for a knife, and.. umm it was enough forge welding for me for some time
Hey-don't let yourself be intimidated by welding.I guarantee that a point will come when you'll say-"Wow-it's so easy!",you really need it for certain projects. Most welds also are different from pattern-welding,easier,more localized.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
